My life in the colleage

is.gd/archivesmit

Let’s start my “future” journey right here. My aiming college is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Of course, that’s the main reason why I’m here. It’s to study English. MIT is a college for all the students who are interested in technology, and programming events. Of course, you need the required expectations to go there, and I'm starting from the basic, English. MIT is based on English and without it, it's useless.

This picture shows the dormitory building of the MIT. I'll probably spending most of my time here, since this is where I do homework and sleep. Also, this will be the place I take shower, watch some videos and entertain myself by talking with roommates or using electronics. This might be an exciting life for me because I am living in a place of unknown, or a place I don't know, since it's not my home, though probably sooner or later I will feel as if it was my house.

This picture shows the lecture room, where most of students are going to stay and learn the subject they want to. The rooms are big, so it makes me nervous. When a voice echos, I feel like they are all hearing at me - which makes me nervous. You don't know when the professor is going to call on me to answer a question, so I have to really concentrate. Also, can you guys imagine there are like fifty other rooms like this? Man, it impresses me. The weird part is that students can sleep during lecture, while nobody says anything about it. I think it's because it's students' responsibility to listen to the lecture, not the professors'.

The picture above that I'll talk about is the soccer field. I love playing soccer, and there would probably be a soccer club activity. I would sign up to run as a player in the big field, which makes me feel proud because I'm running on such a ground. I have no idea why, but everything just feels good. I love soccer, and the BIG MIT sign in the middle might make me feel like something if I actually go there. This place is not as big as the real soccer field - in the countries for soccer leagues or worldcups, but they are big enough and is almost same as the real one. The soccer field is plenty with green grass all well grown.

What school doesn't have their own logos? Well just like other schools, MIT has its own logo too. This picture is a logo MIT, and it's very simple and attracting because the designs look like a technical school. The logo consists with the simple red and gray lines really make the logo looks cool. I'd be really interested in attending here. I don't know why, but I love this logo because it really attracts me. I don't know where it comes from, but this is just a feeling of mine in which everyone might just not feel of.

MIT has something special that some other schools or universities won't have - their own symbol and pride that they attend the MIT university. Every student of MIT owns a ring that signifies that he attends such a school. Here is an actual story. A student of MIT went to McDonalds to get a job, and once the manager saw the ring, he was instantly hired. It's serious, I've seen it before him getting hired right in front of my face. I was eating, though. The ring is golden - even though it's made out of plastic. It signifies the pride of MIT.

The final one is JAVA. Java is an API program that allows users to program by using it. If you get eclipse, the java coding program, you'd probably see all the java stuff you don't know. Well, that's java. I had experiences in java, and I do, code java. I actually add some extensions that uses java. It's called bukkit plugins, but it's not important for now. With java, you can program things that you couldn't before - since it provides the basic setup for you. All you have to do is - code the rest. If all the other developed softwares are done alone without an API, you can't really make any changes to them. You have to decompile the script and re-code it. While java, you can just simply click one button and it'll take you to the coding page. That's why I like java, and why I want to study java if I get to go to MIT.

Mao's Last Dancer

Mao's Last Dancer

Hello guys, Jaegyu Choi here and today I'm doing a movie review on the recent movie we saw, named Mao's Last Dancer, made in 2009. It's based on a true story, and the main character is currently living in Australia. His name is Li Cunxion. The movie is about his career as a ballet dancer. I think this movie is very interesting because it's very romantic, and I love romantic movies.
Li Cunxion was born in China, yet moved to the U.S ON his days at China, he was taken to Beijing for a special training to become an expert ballet dancer. Before he went, his grandfather told him a story about a frog in a well. He said that, if you think that everything you see is all, you'll not success. But, if you think forward, you will one day successfully climb out of the well, thinking that there is something else other than walls. Thinking of this, Cunxion made up his mind and went to Beijing.  He passed the test, and went into the boarding school. He studied a lot and practiced, and soon he was performing. There was one thing that prevented Cuxion to dance with all his might in China. The politics. The dance was required to be political, and Cunxion didn't just like it, After all, he decided to go the US, contracted to come back to China in three months. There, he met Elizabeth.

Elizabeth is an ex-wife of Cunxion. They soon fell in love together. Every time his roommate asked where we went, he made up an excuse for meeting Elizabeth. During the time of US, Elizabeth and Cuxion were happy - Cunxion danced, and Elizabeth watched. After few months, Cunxion got in love with her enough that he made a decision to stay in the US. He had some oppositions against it, though. He wanted to see his family, but China stated that Cunxion will be permanently prohibited to step on the land of China. After his thoughts, he still decided to stay in the US, thinking that one day once he success, probably he will be able to go back. China couldn't hold him, but went against the US government for having a non-citizen stay on their land. But with the help of Bruce, Cunxion was able to stay in Houston, New York with Elizabeth. But soon, they broke up because of mismatch of their thoughts. This let Cunxion concentrate more on his dances. Of course, he had a dance partner, and it would've bee weird if they don't fall into relationship for dancing for more than three months. Soon, they fell in love. It was easier for both because they had a same job. They currently live in Australia with three children now.

I think this movie was fun and both sad because of how Cunxion successes in ballet, but broke up with Elizabeth. This diffidently shows how difficult life is, and we always have to try our best.
